- Obtain an awareness in the updated terminology in age when it comes to a pediatric patient. - Examine the physiological differences in pediatric anatomy when dealing with major trauma compared to adults. - Assess key concepts of Primary and secondary assessments in pediatric patients along with the use of the WETFLAG tool. - Improve knowledge on the cause, signs and symptoms of management in pediatric patients with head injuries and abdominal injuries.
