Objective 1: Improve identification skills for venomous snakes and understanding of venom types. Objective 2: Enhance immediate assessment and first-aid skills for snake bite victims. Objective 3: Increase knowledge in advanced medical interventions, including antivenom administration. Objective 4: Utilize case studies for practical application of snake bite management skills. Objective 5: Update on latest research, and legal and ethical considerations in snake bite management. Lecturer: Brent Arnold, MD (ED Physician) This course is approved for 1.0 CE/CME. After completing this lecture, you must complete the posttest and course evaluation to earn credits. All non-EMS providers will also have to write a brief reflection.
