Service Description
During this lecture we will review the causes of cardiac dysrhythmias in adult and pediatric patient, treatment for them, and common issues associated. We will take a look at popular and new treatments. Also, we will review CPR assist devices taking a look at the positives and negatives associated with them. This lecture will meet the cardiology requirements for recertification of your NREMT or NRP. Objectives Students will gain an understanding of the main causes of cardiac arrest in the adult and pediatric patient. Assessment and management of the patient in cardiac arrest. Managing the patient with ROSC Use of induced hypothermia post cardiac arrest. Both common and uncommon atrial dysrhythmias and their treatment.
