Service Description

Course Objectives: This course focuses on grief/loss reactions, care of the dying patients and their families, and grief encountered by Emergency Department and EMS professionals. This course does NOT include criminal cases. 1- List 4 types of grief. 2- Describe "normal" grief reactions. 3- Explain 3 key tips for delivering devastating news. 4- Create a personal scriot for death notifications. 5- List 2 methods of support for FF/EMS personnel regarding complicated grief.
