Description

- An overview on the main components of patient assessment and management in a traumatic emergency. - Evaluate primary and secondary traumatic brain injuries highlighting key indicators in patient assessment and management. - Evaluate the assessment and management of trauma in patients who have sustained thoracic and abdominal injuries - Assess the classification and different types of burns with looking at the principle of assessment and key points of management with the different types of burns. - Investigate the process, assessment and management of hypovolemic shock and key points of major hemorrhage control. Lecturer: Carl Dowling, BSC This course is approved for 2.0 CE/CME. After completing this lecture, you must complete the posttest and course evaluation to earn credits. All non-EMS providers will also have to write a brief reflection.
