Description

Understand Pediatric Airway Anatomy: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the anatomical differences between pediatric and adult airways. Master Pediatric Airway Assessment: Learn systematic approaches for assessing the pediatric patient's airway, breathing, and circulation (ABCs). Demonstrate Effective Airway Interventions: Gain proficiency in employing appropriate airway management techniques for pediatric patients, such as positioning, suctioning, and basic airway adjuncts. Practice Advanced Airway Techniques: Acquire advanced understanding of pediatric airway management, including the use of supraglottic airway devices, bag-valve-mask ventilation, and endotracheal intubation in pediatric patients. Enhance Decision-Making Abilities: Develop critical thinking skills to make informed decisions regarding the appropriate airway management strategy for pediatric patients in different scenarios. Lecturer: Mr. Brian Eveleth, EMTP This course is approved for 1.0 CE/CME. After completing this lecture, you must complete the posttest and course evaluation to earn credits.
