Description
Objectives: Explain the concept of hormesis and differentiate between hormetic and non-hormetic dose-response curves. Identify characteristics of healthy hormetic supplements versus harmful non-hormetic substances. Analyze how supplements and stressors influence carbon monoxide (CO) production from heme breakdown, and its role in growth, aging, and lifespan. Demonstrate methods to monitor and safely reduce CO levels in the body using non-pharmaceutical tools and techniques.
