About

Objectives
Understand the Anatomy and Pathophysiology of the Respiratory System.
Gain knowledge of the structure and function of the respiratory system, including the mechanics of breathing and gas exchange.
Explore the physiological processes involved in maintaining oxygenation and ventilation.
Recognize conditions such as asthma, COPD exacerbations, pulmonary edema, pneumothorax, and airway obstructions.
Understand prehospital interventions, including oxygen therapy, airway management, bronchodilator administration, and positive pressure ventilation.
Develop skills to assess and stabilize patients with respiratory distress or failure effectively.

Credits Offered: This course is approved for 1.0 CE/CME credit.
Posttest: Participants must complete a posttest to assess their understanding of the material.
Course Evaluation: A course evaluation is required to provide feedback on the lecture.
