Your Lecturer: Jason Hine, MD Join us for an interactive LIVE lecture and workshop. All training equipment will be mailed to you prior to the course date. The equipment is yours to keep and utilize for future workshop sessions. Course Objectives Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to: Recognize the clinical signs and symptoms of tension pneumothorax and identify when emergent needle decompression is indicated. Identify appropriate anatomical landmarks and insertion sites for needle decompression based on current clinical guidelines. Demonstrate proper needle decompression technique using simulation equipment during a live, instructor-guided skills session. Evaluate the effectiveness of needle decompression, recognize potential complications, and describe appropriate post-procedure management.
