Define pain and explore its physiological mechanisms, emphasizing the importance of understanding how pain is processed and perceived. Review pain-related statistics and examine biases and disparities in pain assessment and treatment across different populations. Learn various pain assessment methods, including the NIPS Scale, FLACC Scale, Wong-Baker FACES, and Numeric Pain Scale, to ensure accurate and effective evaluation.
